This app was inspired by The Amazing Type-Writer by doormouse, which unfortunately seems to be no longer maintained and (depending on your iOS version) is no longer available for download in the app store.

We panicked a little when we noticed that and built this app. For each typewriter character, we sampled 10 different versions, and the app introduces other little variations to simulate the irregularities of real typewritten text.
